Last season, I bet on Fumetsu no Anata e & Odd Taxi. Gambles paid off. Now we're officially, squarely in summer, and here are my gambles:
- Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sotsu
- Sonny Boy
Episode 1 of Sonny Boy was pretty ripping. It's one of those "high school animes" but with reality bending and extreme levels of dread, all the good stuff. Higurashi is Higurashi so of course it's going on the watchlist, even if it's garbage.
Might pick up Dragon Quest. The manga was pretty decent, and I just fucking love the franchise in general. 39 episodes out? Sounds like a couple of comfy nights.
