Life in coronavirus... is not so different for me or most of my friends. We're about 9 months into lockdown now. Most of my friends are NEET or work low-skill service jobs (gas station, fast food, grocery store). We spend the majority of our time at home anyway. The people I know who lost their jobs are making more on unemployment than they made working; it feels
Maybe the aspect of life that's most challenging is going on dates.
How has coronavirus / the lockdown affected your life?
It means no Christmas party this year, which is kind of a relief.
#life #health? Is this facebook? Why are there hash tags in a BBS?
Nothing has really changed for me. I work with a mask on and I go home and eat fast food, same as always. Any shopping I need to do is easily done during the week and the stores are packed as usual. I don't have friends. I don't go to bars or cafes or restaurants or sporting events or any of that stuff. I am honestly glad the norms are down at the level of lonely desperation I'vr been in for my entire life

>>>/b/ and later >>>/r9k/ was pretty much a blog before the pedos abused imageboards.
You can still find >>>/soc/ in Googlechan.
Even before that, >>>/lounge/ was pretty much a thing, and soc.* amd talk.* always existed before the web.
I'm working on team collaboration software, so job-wise 2020 has been pretty good. It's getting old, though. I usually don't often leave my apartment for socializing, maybe once a month. After a whole year of not meeting up and hanging out with friends I really want to. Once this is over, I'll party hard I guess.

how bout that COVID 2?
Same as the old COVID but without the benefits for the working class / underclass. In fact, I'd say this is quite a bit worse.
Looking back, I had a great time in lockdown, I hope we have another one. I never caught Covid for 2 years until well after lockdowns were lifted, and then I actually rather enjoyed it, I'd do it all again!
